In about 500 words, outline the topic of your story and provide an initial draft.

There are only 2 requirements: your story must be true and your story must be about you. Beyond this, we obviously hope that you don't include inflammatory or derogatory language and that you pursue the vision of the event along with us.

We've found 10 minutes to be a sweet spot for story duration, give or take a couple minutes, and we ask that you try to keep your story around there. Written out, this is around 1000 words.

At this stage, we've found it best if your story is written out in a narrative form, and please include a title. Your story can cover any topic, and we encourage stories that have their roots outside of medicine. Selected submissions will be invited to present at the event in front of a live audience.

When submitting your story we suggest writing it in your preferred editor, and then pasting into the submission box below to avoid losing your progress. Consider watching past stories on our YouTube channel to get inspired.
